I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience with Pioneer Therapy (The Valens Group). Alex L, Lainie K & Charlotte B are very compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly skilled professional. They are welcoming, supportive, and tailored to meet my child’s specific needs and goals.
Our therapists took the time to understand my child’s challenges and created a customized plan that made real, noticeable progress each week. What impressed me most was how engaging and encouraging their sessions were—my child never felt rushed or judged, and I always left feeling more confident.
Whether you’re looking for help with articulation, fluency, coping or communication skills in general, I wholeheartedly recommend this practice. I cannot thank Lauren (OT specialist) enough for all she’s helped my daughter with when it comes to regulating her emotions, overcoming fears and feeling more confident in play with her peers/ learning new skills how to maneuver new situations. In the fall, we had a trip planned and Lauren gave us extra work to do at home which helped significantly in helping my daughter overcome many fears she had. My family was in complete shock to see the significant progress my daughter had. I recommend Lauren, she is loving, caring, knowledgeable, wise, compassionate and knows exactly how to work with my little girl who isn’t always open to new people. We had a great experience with Hanna, our 3-year-old daughter’s speech therapist. In just 6 months, our daughter went from saying only a few words to speaking in full sentences! Pioneer Therapy has made the world difference
My son is 27 months old and has been receiving early intervention since he turned 18 months. He has multiple sessions with various professionals, all which have been great. This specific network is where he does his developmental therapy with Casey Marx. Casey has been a huge support, not only for my son’s development, but as a first time mother as well. Casey is very understanding and supportive. She creates goals that are catered to my son’s needs, as well as realistic to his lifestyle and my own. Working alongside with Casey from Pioneer Therapy has made the world difference in my son’s routine, growth, and day to day life. Casey Marx was the Developmental Therapist who worked with my little one for about 5 months before aging out of Early Intervention. Casey was the best! My girls would ask every day after school if Miss Casey was coming. She always had the best energy and positive attitude! Casey was great at seeing where my little one needed support and through child lead play, gave her just that. No matter what my little one decided to play with that day, Casey could use it as a teaching moment. Whether crawling through an obstacle course or dressing up with her, she always gave her all. One of my favorite skills we worked on was getting along and social play with others. My oldest would be included during session and we had to work as a “TEAM” to get something done. We ended each session with cheering, “1, 2, 3, TEAMWORK”! They still say we need to use “TEAMWORK” when figuring something out together!
