Meet Eleni Kioussis, a compassionate and attentive pediatric physical therapist who is driven to place the needs of her patients and families at the forefront of her services. Eleni is a dedicated pediatric physical therapist who blends her strong clinical expertise in physical therapy with a warm and inviting environment where children and their families feel supported. She believes that physical therapy should be both effective and encouraging, empowering her patients to thrive across all aspects of their daily environments. By focusing on each child’s unique strengths and utilizing evidence-based techniques, Eleni creates individualized, playful, and goal-driven sessions that help kids thrive at home, school, and in their communities.
Eleni’s journey into pediatric physical therapy has been shaped by both her love of learning and her passion for helping children reach their fullest potential. Eleni earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan where she acted as a student athletic trainer on various sports teams and kid camps. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University where she collaborated on a 3 year long research study on the early detection of cerebral palsy.
Eleni grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago and has loved living in the city with her partner since moving for graduate school. When she’s not treating patients, you can catch Eleni trying out new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She also loves a jigsaw puzzle and does the New York Times crossword daily.
