Meet Natalie Porter, a passionate and enthusiastic pediatric physical therapist with a heart for people and a special affinity for children. Natalie’s ‘why’ is connection, so she places a strong emphasis on fostering a collaborative and supportive relationship with both the child and their family. She is deeply passionate about guiding families through the remarkable journey of their child’s development, and believes in empowering them to take an active role in their child’s growth. Her approach is rooted in warmth, compassion, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of each child and family. By taking a family-centered and holistic approach, she strives to treat the whole child – addressing not only their physical needs but also nurturing their emotional and cognitive well-being. Ultimately, her goal is to create a welcoming and nurturing environment where every child can shine brightly and reach their full potential.
Natalie has a knack for combining her love of learning with beautiful surroundings. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO, where she fell in love with the mountains and outdoor adventures. Later, she pursued her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, immersing herself in the vibrant city life while honing her skills in pediatric care.
Currently calling Chicago home, Natalie shares her life with her partner and their adorable shih tzu, Luna. When she’s not doting on Luna, you can catch Natalie practicing yoga, scouting out new coffee shops, or enjoying a local concert. Her zest for life and passion for her work make her a valuable asset to the pediatric therapy community, where she’s dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families alike.
